Nemanja Bogunovic, guitarist, composer and arranger, was born in 1981 in Belgrade.
He started playing the guitar at the age of seven, and gave his first concert at the age of ten. At the age of sixteen, he entered the University of Las Vegas (UNLV) where he studied prof. Raymond Williams, and a year later he began studying with the famous Spanish guitar family Los Romeros in San Diego.
He graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. He gave concerts and public performances in the USA, Canada, Mexico, England, Ireland, Isle of Man, Spain, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Italy. He performed as a soloist with leading orchestras in Europe and America.
He published five albums, a collection of compositions, as well as two collections of guitar transcriptions.
He gained international recognition with the release of his album “The Soundtrack”, on which he recorded his arrangements of famous movie themes, which he also published in his collection “Unforgettable Movie Themes”, a publication that has been sold in more than thirty countries.
Due to his delicate tone and musical temperament, he received the epithets “Guitarist of poetic musicality” and “Gentleman with a guitar” by music critics. Nemanja started composing at the age of fourteen, and his compositions have already become part of the concert repertoire of many renowned guitarists.
He has held several concerts at the United Nations in New York, as well as at the Kennedy Center in Washington, and in 2020 he made his debut at the famous Isaac Stern auditorium at Carnegie Hall in New York.
Nemanja Bogunović, gitarista, kompozitor i aranžer, rođen je 1981. godine u Beogradu.
Gitaru je počeo da svira sa sedam godina, a prvi koncert održao je sa deset godina. Sa šesnaest godina upisao se na Univerzitet u Las Vegasu (UNLV) gde je studirao kod prof. Rejmonda Vilijamsa, a godinu dana kasnije počinje rad kod poznate španske gitarske porodice Los Romeros u San Diegu. Diplomirao je na Fakultetu muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu.
Održao je koncerte i javne nastupe u SAD, Kanadi, Meksiku, Engleskoj, Irskoj, Ostrvu Men, Španiji, Srbiji, Hrvatskoj, Crnoj Gori, Severnoj Makedoniji i Italiji. Nastupao je kao solista sa vodećim orkestrima u Evropi i Americi.
Objavio je pet albuma, zbirku kompozicija, kao i dve zbirke transkripcija za gitaru. Međunarodno priznanje stekao je izdavanjem albuma “The Soundtrack”, na kojem je snimio svoje obrade poznatih filmskih tema, koje je objavio i u svojoj zbirci “Nezaboravne filmske teme” koja je prodata u više od trideset zemalja. Zbog delikatnog tona i muzičkog temperamenta, od muzičkih kritičara dobio je epitete “Gitarista poetske muzikalnosti” i “Gospodin sa gitarom”.
Nemanja je počeo da komponuje sa četrnaest godina, a njegove kompozicije su već postale deo koncertnog repertoara mnogih renomiranih gitarista.
Održao je nekoliko koncerata u Ujedinjenim Nacijama u Njujorku, kao i u Kenedi centru u Vašingtonu, a 2020. godine debitovao je u čuvenom Karnegi Holu u Njujorku.
